⚙️George Harrismith

Brother of Paul McGear and Daisy Harrismith. Father of "Yakky". Soulmate of Tena Great Dane.

GEORGE  is a quiet, extremely shy and nervous bookish cinnamon roll type. He lived a sheltered life, enslaved by his adoptive parents with only his real brother, Paul, to trust. Due to this, George has Avoidant Personality Disorder. After they ran away from the farm, he was suddenly dropped into a world he didn't understand and completely relied on quick-thinking Paul to help guide him to safe spaces each night and stole food from grocery stores or garbage cans to survive. They huddled inside a boathouse for the night and was awoken by a stranger, Max, who discovered them and took them to his home. Max taught them the ways of normal life and this is where George discovered music for the first time. Music became his personal escape from his internal fears of inadequacy, judgement from others, depression and anxiety. Another coping mechanism for lowering stress is that George excessively cleans his surroundings which results in an orderly calming environment, with the added perk of feeling as though he is in control of his environment when his life often feels out of his control. 

It took much convincing and probing to get George to feel comfortable enough to perform onstage in front of people. When he's onstage performing with his band mates, he tends to close his eyes to focus on the music and feeds off the fun energy of his band mates, as if they were back home jamming in the basement. He never looks beyond the edge of the stage to the millions of eyes that are watching him and glances away with the house lights go on. He is very dependent upon on his closest friends who make him feel safe. But his brother also takes advantage of his naive and needy personality, ordering him around and he does what he's told without question.
