I disagree! I spend time and effort with every piece I make. People pay me for my art and add that worth to their OCs, I can do the same for my own. This is something standard I’ve seen for artists across the board. You can choose how to calculate your OC’s worth as you wish but I keep track of the worth (lowballing honestly) of my own art for my OCs and that’s my personal choice.

For the record if the designer requested me not to add my own art’s worth, I would be open to come to an agreement with them.
