Like your average Reefclanner, Typhoonthunder is fairly well balanced. He is decent at both attacking and hunting, but lacks a decent defense leaving him open to injury. As to be expected, he loves the water and often goes out of his way to get wet. With a short coat like his it takes much less time to get dry, even when it’s colder. Finally Typhoonthunder shows a special love for herbs. Staunchly loyal to his clan and his ancestors, he doesn’t tend to question his own beliefs often. Though his clan’s turbulent history isn’t a source of comfort. He’s a clever individual who is seemingly tireless in his endeavors; though he wouldn’t make a particularly remarkable mentor at the moment.
The first thing you must know about Typhoonthunder is that he is caring. Typhoonthunder pays special love to most aspects of his life. He adores his family: he is impressed by middle sibling’s drive, spoils her kits in secret, admires his mother something fierce, and dotes on his baby sister. When he remembers, that is, it can be hard to when you’re as busy as he is! Not to worry though, Typhoonthunder is a cool and collected individual who prefers to project a calm aura to others. His words are often carefully picked, friendly and drawing you deep into the conversation. He is excessively organized and prepared, oftentimes living his life to a somewhat routine schedule; this isn’t to say he can’t ‘go with the flow’, but he certainly prefers the flow of a stream he’s carved himself.
Typhoonthunder is exceptionally dedicated to the path he travels. For him this means striving to become the best warrior he can be, and picking up skills that might help him. He works tirelessly at this and pesters clanmates for information occasionally, but it’s all in good spirits. This being said, what starts as purely good intent can… unravel. At his heart Typhoon is ambitious and goal-oriented. There are few things that are as important to him as accomplishing the vision he sets out for himself, and by no means does he lack the motivation to do so. His intellectual curiosity is extensive, and while his proficiency in learning can be beneficial Typhoonthunder has been known to delude himself that being technically good is the only way to succeed. Unfortunately this means he at times looks down on others who don’t share the same opinions.
All this hard work can get to Typhoonthunder. By nature he is a perfectist and when he isn’t able to complete his duties to his overly high standards it takes his toll on his mental health. This can express itself in him neglecting his self care and personal relationships. He is fiercely proud of his independence and even during slumps like these does not like accepting help, going so far as to lash out at those offering. It takes a very determined cat to brave this and knock some sense into him. At the end of the day Typhoonthunder controlling and when he isn’t able to exert this over his environment in a way that makes him feel secure he tends to spiral.

Typhoonthunder has lived his whole 39 moons in Reefclan territory. He grew up alongside his mother and littermates and interacts with them frequently.
KITHOOD
Under his mother’s wing Typhoonkit had a kind kithood full of tender memories and heartfelt moments. He grew alongside his siblings, and even though there was a vacancy where another parent might be, Stormcaller was sure to fill it and then some. No one could doubt she loved her children.
Adolescence
Ah yes, Typhoonpaw’s days of apprenticeship. He worked himself hard and then some. If his mother’s lofty expectations ever got to him too much, well, he tried to keep that to himself.
WARRIORHOOD
Now an warrior Typhoonthunder watches over his clan best he can. He visits his sibling and their kits; though why why she bothered with kits in the first place — and with Cranberrythicket of all cats — he couldn’t tell you. He puts his unsolicited opinion aside though, his aversion to children doesn’t need to be theirs, he supposes. Her conviction to do this alone is nothing if not inspiring. Oh, and then there’s his little sister, Rivercloud. The way she eyes the little family is nothing if not… concerning. But she’s capable! Their entire family is, that’s what it means to be part of the Severe Weather Family. And he’s there for all of them as much as is appropriate, no sense in coddling. Now he goes about his day and watches the horizon like something is brewing. Which is silly, he’ll tackle whatever obstacles lie ahead with the usual grace and poise required. It’s probably nothing anyway.

Typhoonthunder is a slender but well built cat with lithe, well developed muscles. His fur is glossy and usually well groomed save his long tail which can get a bit messy. He has dark eyes that are usually tracking his surroundings, and large ears that frame his face, and a set of protruding canines. He is very tall and has very long legs which make him an excellent runner.
Middle sister who he feels a small kinship to. Enjoys spending time with her kits even though he isn’t usually the kit-type. Likes how independent they are because of his own preference for such a lifestyle.
His youngest sister who he babies, even though he’ll deny it. Stormcaller’s child don’t baby anyone, afterall. He’s impressed and endeared by her saint-like nature but also mildly concerned that it will get her hurt. Tries to spend time with her but can be forgetful about this with the agendas he has.
