Reuble

Reuble is firm as ever--(typically) levelheaded, strong, passionate, and caring as can be. If you're down on your luck, short on anything from money to food? Reuble will be the first one at your doorstep, homemade gift basket in hand, smelling suspiciously like freshly baked homemade apple pie. No thanks necessary. However, he's not exactly that integrated with modern society. Her specialty is crops and cooking--not devices and being a social butterfly. They'll try their best to be friendly and generous, but working your way into their heart for life may prove to be harder than it looks. Not to mention their inability to tell a good joke to save his life.

Taken in by an elderly couple as a child onto a lush, secluded farm, Reuble grew to love plants almost instantly. Farming, herding, and cooking came naturally, and life fell into a calm, easy, carefree peace. Unfortunately, that peace wouldn't last long. Ruby's parents eventually passed away, and she was absolutely devastated. However, the farm wouldn't take care of itself--he put his grief behind him, prepared herself to take on ownership of the farm, and did just that. Companionship became an occasional treat rather than a constant, and soon enough, Reuble was a complete recluse. All she knew for years was corn and cows, as far as the eye could see. She'd meet people at stands at the farmer's market, but it'd never be a real relationship anytime soon. By the time he met Ryker and Atlas, they didn't even realize how lonely they had gotten. But lo and behold, they made their way into Ruby's heart, made a home on the farm, and now she can't imagine living any other way.
