Despite being blind, Acornspot has no real troubles navigating her environment. Nonetheless, she finds the role of campguard to be most suitable for her- her keen attention to detail and attuned senses lend her an almost encyclopediac knowledge of the comings and goings of her clanmates, which might shock those who would underestimate her due to her lack of sight.
The other denizens of the clan have great respect for Acornspot's ability- which is something of a double-edged sword. Acornspot appreciates that they do not coddle her, but also wishes that cats would just leave her to do her job rather than inquiring about each other's whereabouts through her. She is ultimately a rather detached a businesslike molly, preferring to play the part of a silent and undisturbed observer. And she 'sees' much, despite her lack of sight.

- When not on duty, she can often be found taking naps in the warmest place possible.
- She was not born blind, but lost her vision to an accident early on in her apprenticeship. The healers of the time reported that she showed remarkable determination in adjusting to her new circumstance.
- Despite occasionally seeming standoffish, she is rather touchy with clanmates- always brushing whiskers or tails against them, or leaning on shoulders.
