The ability to see someone's death upon skin-to-skin contact with them.

The ability to see the future, randomly, in general, when her third eye is open. (The visions come sporadically, not all the time her third eye is open. She cannot choose what to see, simply it is whatever comes. Usually, it does effect the people and place around her even if the vision reaches further then her surrounding area. IE: Predicting ambushes and attacks.)

Backstory: Reza was born in a small village to a human huntsman Father and a herbalist elf Mother.  Her parents loved her dearly, as did all the villagers. Cere was free to roam, touching others, and telling them of their day or days ahead. She helped her Mother find rare herbs and her Father plentiful game to feed their people, warning of injuries or bad occurrences. She was treasured, but also highly sought out by the youth and elderly of their home.

In their realm, Seers who can tell as much as she can are extremely rare (almost legendary) and thus coveted. For this, they tried to keep her a secret from the Kingdom but with travelers passing through and their daughters carefree ways and age the worst happened. Word spread, from one traveler to another, and as all good gossip will, reached someone in power.

Though, 3yr old Cereza saw that their were soldiers coming to the village, their was naught that could be done. Theron, her Father, and Sorrel, her Mother, still sought to hide her. To deny, to protect their little girl, had there been more time then nightfall they would have absconded with her leaving all behind but as it was there was barely any warning given before the men swarmed their village, pulling families from their homes and gathering them in the village market (which was also the village square).

They were offered, give up the girl and you will live, shelter her and you will all die and the village will burn. The Villagers knew this was a lie, girl or not they were doomed. Cereza, however, did not. Opening her third eye she saw the bloody deaths and ablaze homes. Hoping to prevent this tragedy, the toddler came out from where she was told she must not leave, no matter what, and gave herself up to the soldiers.

At that time, visions from those of her home were not overwhelming, she'd seen all their was of their lives but visions of so many new people as she came into their presence were more then she could handle. Cereza collapsed, being collected up by the men and given to the commander to ride with, she roused just long enough to hear the order.

“Kill them all and burn this to the ground. Leave no structure standing.”

Consciousness was lost again, even as tears flooded her eyes.

(Sidenote: With enough exposure to groups of people she can become used to them and no longer get visions unless skin-to-skin contact is made. It has yet to be tested or seen if enough contact will cease those visions to. However, large groups of 'new' people are problematic for her and the visions get jumbled and overlapped and can cause fainting.)

Cereza was gifted to the King from the Nobleman who had taken her. 'Prettied' up and offered up. The King ordered her eyes blindfolded and that her third must remain open when she was awake. Cereza was threatened, somewhat she knew to be true, disobey and she would be blinded, permanently. While the temptation and longing is there so to is the reminder.

(Note: Her third eye does not function as a normal eye would. She cannot see her surroundings with it, effectively leaving her blind anyway.)

Lost and scared she was imprisoned in the castle. Her room has not windows and only a single door, her maid does not speak, and her storyteller does not chat. The guards posted outside her door rotate but none will converse with her. She is only allowed children's stories and all trips outside her quarters are to use her powers for someone who cannot travel to her within the confines of those walls, rare as those are. She has not left the grounds in many years.

She has not seen the sun in just as many. Cereza is kept blindfolded and secreted inside. For this her sense of smell and hearing are outstanding. She can identify her maid, storyteller, and King by nose alone. She can hear the approach of others long before the guard outside does. She knows the changing of the shifts and endless boredom and loneliness.

Due to her captivity, she is very small and weak. While she is fed well the lack of any physical activity is damaging. Mounting the steps when she is taken out is trying, needing multiple breaks, though never a complaint from her is uttered. Her maid attends all her dressings, bathings, feedings, and the passage of time is only measured by these events. Each day marked by the tasks of readying her for potential visitors. Cereza sleeps endless hours in loneliness and longs to go out and see the sun not through others but for herself.

Unbeknownst to her is the light sensitivity she has developed trapped inside, her room lit by lantern and candle and fitted comfortably but familiar and unchanging in 13yrs.

What will her story bring?
