a very devout warrior and follower of ugin. yes, he was there since before everything went to shit. he knew that ugin would never abandon them; he was well aware of the fact that jianyu had overthrown his god but he wasn't aware that he had her sealed away to suffer a fate worse than death.

even so, he wouldn't have said anything. he kept quiet, waiting and watching, for the perfect time to unveil jianyu.

his silence paid off; jianyu never even noticed alasdair, despite being the biggest threat to his image.
