Personality

Eclipse is quite the introvert. She feels very outcast from both the changeling hive and the pony society, so tends to stay out of other ponies' way. She compensates for her insecurity with a regal look. She doesnt talk much to others outside of her friends.

Story

Eclipse was born to a former changeling queen, before Chrysalis, and an unknown stallion. It was quite a shock that a hybrid could be born at the time and both of her parents abandoning her. She was dumped by her mother into the everfree forest hoping the timberwolves would take care of her. Changelings are made to become independent early, so Eclipse had no trouble fending for herself. She took refuge in an abandoned underground den, which she continues to call home. She found she enjoyed the night as she found the glisten of the stars mesmerizing. She also found that her wings glistened in the moonlight which led her to giving her self the name Eclipse.

As she grew she traveled into the nearby Ponyville for food and items she could put in her now cave. She discovered books soon after and taught herself to read. while she hated transforming to look more like a pony, she loved gaining information from the books around the town, so she would push through for her need to learn. She renovated her cave to have crystals, which at midnight will be directlky hit by the moonlight and shine like the night she discovered her love for the time. She eventually met Loric as she saved her from timberwolves while she was looking for bones. She was soon introduced to Alkane and Stratus and became close to them ever since.

Relationships

Loric Mortum

Loric is Eclipse's best friend. Loric tends to get herself into dangerous situations and Eclipse has to come save her. It's always been that way, but they enjoy it. They both love to info dump about their interests and loric has helped Eclipse with expanding her cave while she got a few bones during her renovation. They will have eachothers back even if Loric has a hard time doing so.

Alkane Wreath

Alkane exists in an AU of Eclipse's story where all my sonas exist together. Alkane and Eclipse bond over crystals as Alkane used to work as a jeweler. They aren't super close compared to Loric and Stratus are to Eclipse. They both prefer to let others talk so it's usually awkward silence between the two. However, when they do talk, they understand eachother better than anybody else. With Eclipse's Eloquent language and Alkanes wide vocabulary, they have a better time understanding their words. Although, other ponies think that they are trying to be pompous.

Stratus Serenity

Stratus meets Eclipse after she gained more confidence and self-worth, so she has an easier time making acquaintances than she had in the past. Stratus and Eclipse like to fly around at sunset on occasion and take in the sights. Eclipse finds comfort in Stratus and find she is a shoulder to cry on. She's the only pony, she'll be vulnerable with.
