traits: Adrenaline, or Addy, isn't a big fan of secrets anymore, having been forced to grow up living a secret life. She is proud of who she is and what she stands for. An independent woman, she's not exactly a fan of herd life and herd mentality, though that stems from bad experiences in her childhood. She likes being the one in charge of her life. Outspoken, loud, and very much an adrenaline junkie, there isn't much that Addy won't do when it comes to having a good time, though she draws the line at senseless violence, murder, kidnapping, and rape. She doesn't support any of that, claiming that it's just bullshit ways of someone trying to make themselves look tough. She does, however, love a good fuck, a good fight, and some banter. She also can never turn down a dare, nor is she a big fan of rules. Is there a place where mares are forbidden to go? She's going. Darks aren't allowed to do something? Fuck that shit, she's doing it. She refuses to bow down to anyone anymore, refuses to be ashamed of who and what she is. Addy wants to show the world that Darks aren't bad and that being a Dark doesn't mean that you're evil.

history: Addy grew up in a Light herd that was a part of a Light extremist community. They weren't your stereotypical rainbows-and-daisies Lights, either. These Lights were cruel, judgemental, and abusive. Children were taught daily for the first year of their lives that being Light was the only way to be. If someone was suspected of being a Dark, they were beaten until they confessed their sins. If they didn't confess, even if there was nothing to confess, they were slaughtered. It was thought that, after nearly a century, the Darks had been eradicated from their lands. That, however, was not the case. Instead, the Darks went underground. They weren't out slaughtering and raping. Instead, they had little underground communities that would meet in different places every other month or so. They would speak about how darkness wasn't exactly a bad thing, so long as you weren't hurting others for no reason. They encouraged sex and being who you wanted to be. Well, being who you wanted to be when you were within the underground community, but since they knew their numbers weren't big enough to go up against a whole kingdom, they knew they had to act like "proper Lights" when they were around their herds.

Addy discovered this Dark community when she was two years old. She had never really been the type to believe everything that her herd was telling her and when she discovered one of these secret meetings after leaving the herd after the moonrise curfew, she quickly became obsessed. She agreed with what these Dark equines were teaching and enjoyed their company. She quickly made friends and became a very outspoken member of their community. This community lasted three long years... before it was discovered.

No one is quite sure how it happened but somehow their meetings were discovered. They met in different places every time, and the meeting place wasn't even confirmed until a day or two before the meeting was supposed to take place, and yet here came the Kingdom Guard. Thankfully, the Darks had taught themselves how to fight, something that was banned in the regular herds unless you were guards, so they fought back as much a they could. Darks young and old joined together, fighting back the Guards, but their numbers were just too small to compete. Some of the older Darks decided to stay and keep fighting, giving the younger Darks, like Addy, a chance to escape.
