A rather special demon compared to regular demons, Balthazar's circumstance as to becoming one was more tragedy based opposed the weigh of previous sins. Once in his previous life, Balthazar lived as a livestock that fell to illness from a famine that affected his land. The life of the old Balth came to an abrupt end, but was instead reborn. Sought with pity, the demon was given a new life to gain another chance to begin anew.

The pity that was given to the demon slowly began to be repaid as the baphomet demon discovered his comfort handling those that died. Although Balthazar couldn’t properly accompany the messenger of death, he merely found ways to tangle his efforts. Even if it wounded up being morbid in taste. Balthazar has handled the dead to even downright stealing personal belongings to later sell.

Despite his rather questionable tactics, Balthazar was renowned as someone who knew how to get the job done in any efficient way possible.
