Toucat

About: My favorite mythical creature has always been Griffins, so the fact that I made an OC based on that concept isn't surprising. What is surprising, however, is the fact that this creature is not half-lion-half-eagle, rather it is half-cat-half-toucan. Or so I'd like to think, based on that "Toucan Sam" beak. But idk, Toucat is a cute lil kitter so I kept it.

Appearance: As the name suggests, Toucat is a variant of Griffin that is half cat, half toucan. While a Griffin typically shows more eagle-like features in its torso/head/arms, Toucats generally moreso resemble cats than toucans. They have short, tufted ears, and large, slitted eyes. Their most notable feature is their large, curved beak, and their brightly colored feathers. Their front legs resemble the talons of a large bird, and they have an impressive set of wings. They also have a relatively long tail, lined with thin feathers. They come in a wide variety of colors, though the one that I consider my OC is blue with rainbow feathers. Much like domestic felines, Toucats are very graceful, and can make a flick of the wing without a whisper. 

Personality: Toucats are very solitary animals, and are often found alone, though they love interactions with people and other animals. They are similar in mannerism to their smaller domestic counterparts, as they are highly curious and love to explore the world around them. They are well-known for being caring and comforting, and are not interested in any sort of conflict.
