- He has the ability to summon a small pocket universe on Earth--a crossroads or intersection with a relatively simple environment. Sometimes, there are sheep!
- Noia has a lot of faith in humanity for someone who is literally a demon.
- He spends more time on Earth than he does in Hell. I mean, which is reasonable.
CAREER;
- Noia is a contract demon! His job is to grant favors to humans in return for them promising their souls to the pits.
- He's relatively low on the food chain in terms of his actual job, choosing to inhabit a rural crossroads near a bar frequented by drunks and gamblers.
- Noia's main goal is to help people, despite his occupation. He has a lot of love for and hope in humanity, and wants to get people out of bad situations to the best of his ability.
PERSONAL LIFE;
- Noia is the son of the devil and a human man. He died at a pretty young age (22) and learned about his demonic heritage when he went to hell.
- (CW: CAR INJURY) Noia was a reckless driver, one day ending up hitting a single mother in the car with her kids. The children weren’t hurt, but the mother was--severely. A contract demon appeared to Noia in this moment, and he promised himself to hell in return for the woman’s life to be saved. Deals to save peoples’ lives are one-for-one, though, so Noia was sent to the pits immediately. The demon made it appear as though Noia died in the accident instead, the woman and her children completely unharmed.
- The demon Noia made the deal w pushed that event to happen–others had been staging similar near-death experiences for Noia since he’d turned 16. Noia’s father (you know, the devil) wanted his presence in hell, so he put out a bounty of sorts on his own son, rewarding the demon who could corral him into making a deal.
- Most of his ilk choose to become contract demons to get out of eternal torment, but Noia was immediately made one due to his heritage. He takes advantage of this fact to get away with being bad at his job, often just doing favors for people instead of forcing them to sign contracts because he has the luxury to do so. He won't risk falling back into the throes of eternal torment if he's a kinda shitty soul collector.
- Noia's ultimate goal is to regain his humanity. He doesn't know if it's possible for him, being the son of a major devil, but he strives to do his best.
IMPORTANT PEOPLE;
- Nocht: His father. You know, the devil.
- Florian: A fellow demon. A frenemy? Hy annoys Noia to no end, but Noia believes Florian was given something of a gift by being raised by humans. He wants to make hyr stay loyal to humanity rather than fall to hyr demonic nature, which shy teeters dangerously upon the edge of doing.
