Basic Info
- Jenson is Fox’s older brother by 4 years.
- Joined the militia when he was 25. At this point in the story Isondale is at war with a neighboring country, Koghburg.
- Overworked and overtired. Is easily irritated but is very good at holding his tongue. Used to have an explosive temper as a teen but he mellowed out as he got older.
- Struggles much more with his sister’s death than Fox does.
- Has few people he can rely on but is very capable of taking care of himself (unlike Fox.)
- Basically Fox’s dad, especially after their older sister couldn’t care for them anymore. However as Fox got older and matured, Jenson found they were able to relate to each other more and quickly became very close friends.
- Now that they’re grown, talking to each other about their problems has become a usual thing between the two brothers. It’s definitely unusual to the both of them, but it’s getting easier to do and helps them cope tremendously.
- Jenson is proud of Fox for his smarts and sees so much potential in his work. Plans to get him somewhere someday.
- None of his own goals are reachable, so he tries to live vicariously through his brother’s success (which is like unhealthy for him in a lot of ways but im too lazy to get into it rn.)
- Has put it on himself to help Fox get help, but doing so is not an easy task. Fox can be beyond stubborn at times and easily shuts down when confronted. Jenson is sick of living his brother’s life for him but is too afraid to let Fox sort things out for himself.
- Despite everything, the good outweighs the bad. Jenson loves Fox very much. Maintaining a good relationship with his brother is very important to him.
- Thinks Fox is a tiny little weirdo, but it’s nothing he’s not already used to. Fox is also really fuckin funny, nobody can make Jenson laugh as much as he does. They love goofing off with each other and have an insane amount of inside jokes. Fox is also really good at using humor as a coping tool to lighten the mood when they’re having a serious conversation.
Years later
- The brother’s relationship is much healthier. They no longer rely on each other so heavily.
- With Fox’s fame and improved mental health, Jenson is able to focus on himself more.
- Marries the love of his life, Marianne Palmer. Soon after, they buy a house in Mosswell.
- Together they raise two sons: Lewis Fletcher and Arthur Fletcher
- Arthur (Artie) will become Fox’s apprentice later in life.
- They live happily ever after ok
