- “Fox” was a nickname his mother gave him that sort of just stuck. Nobody in his family has ever called him James. Professors and peers usually refer to him as James because that's the name listed on the class roster and he's too shy to correct anyone.
- He doesn't even like foxes that much. If you received nothing but fox-themed birthday presents for the millionth time in a row you'd be sick of them too.
