Dion Versant is a part of a mercenary group he formed with his brother Casper. He wields two shortswords and almost dances with them when a fight ensues. He almost makes cutting heads and limbs off look graceful.
Dion likes his money, his ale, and women. He doesn't look or act much different from the standard mercenary. He comes off a little cocky and greedy and his smirky grin don't help. But underneath all the gruff, whoring, and glory-seeking is a very tender man that is loyal like a dog. He loves his brother Casper dearly and tends to baby him at times. Dion is good with words and has quite a bit of snark in him.
When he invited Ruvin to the group it was because he knew he had nowhere else to go. He had seen the worse sides of Ruvin and was aware that he was, at times, a ruthless and rage-filled beast. But he had also seen him on his knees, seen him... broken. Dion wouldn't say it was just out of pity, but out of hope, he invited him. He hoped that extending an olive branch would give the broken beast and sense of humanity again. And it did. It also was likely that Ruvin could be an outstandingly good ally too...
Ruvin sees Dion as family and while he will always have rude manners, he might actually be more loyal to Dion than anyone else. Dion is one of the few people Ruvin will listen to if he told him to stand down. Dion probably knows the most about Ruvin's bleak life and has the best idea of what is going on in Ruvins head at times. While the others in the group view Ruvin as rather unpredictable, Dion thinks the opposite. It's quite simple really. As soon as it gets personal, he either fights it... or flees from it. He always tries to fight it first though.
Jax is hard to figure out to Dion and he, as well as Ruvin, is a little suspicious of him. But Dion isn't daft and can tell that Ruvin is acting differently towards the southerner. Ruvin is always wary of strangers and has harmed many. But not once has he as much as curled a hair on Jax's head despite Jax being more mouthy and nosy than almost everyone who've come along before him. Not once has Dion seen Ruvin show actual compassion... if you could call not beating someone to a pulp a sign of compassion? Dion once tried to pry about Ruvins reactions towards Jax, but the conversation didn't end well and Ruvin left with an almost fearful look in his eyes. Dion is on the fence about going to Jax about this matter because he still doesn't know him too well. He would rather be beaten up by Ruvin himself than make him seem vulnerable to someone who might back-stab him.

Build - Slender, but muscular.
Appearance - Bronzy tan skin, brown hair with lighter golden streaks, olive-green eyes narrow eyes, a tattoo above his right eye, and one on his left shoulder, small scaring here and there.
