The small dog began to stir their head lifting off the ground as a breeze brushed against their fur. The tall tree behind them shading them from the harsh sun summer had begun to end but the heat refused to die down, the pup rose trying to shake the heat off and began to waddle to their water bowl. The water was slightly warm but a needed refreshment. The pup decides it was time to swim slowly making their way to a nearby stream jumping headfirst into the cooling water swimming for a while until they were exhausted. The pup walked back to the tree and fell back to sleep.
