Dorian

Dorian isn't the most personable guy in the lower levels but honestly what Engineer is? When you dabble on the wrong side of the law it pays to keep to yourself. That being said he's damn good at what he does and he knows it.

Despite having no family of his own Dorian successfully exudes Tired Dad Energy. Perhaps it's in part the result of sleeping too little and speaking a little too gruff. He's been known to occassionally take favours instead of cash if he thinks it's important enough but don't count on it.

Dorian is an Engineer specialising in the building of parts for body modifications. He doesn't actually install them as neither biology or programming are his fortes but he supplies to others and can be relied upon for the maintenance as well. When he's not tinkering with parts he can be found doing fix-it jobs; anything from fixing water-systems to repairing cars. If it's a hands-on problem Dorian's your guy.

He's never really been interested in people as much as he has machines and as such most relationships he has are business based. He does however have a couple of little neighbourhood brats that he's known long enough to have developed some attachment to. Now that they're older they're largely the driving force behind making sure he's eaten a meal every now and then and dragging him out of his place for some fresh air.

Dorian spends a lot of time on his work and he's been known to get time blind when he gets really into a project. This is where Vic feels it necessary to step in and make sure the 'old man' eats something, bathes and is just okay in general. The kid is also the one who keeps an eye on how ruined Dori's clothes are. Never one for fashion, he will literally just keep wearing things til they fall apart.

Being an Engineer means you are part of a "family". Dorian however never seems to speak of his mentor nor has he selected anyone to take on as an apprentice. If pressed about it he tends to deflect and/or just stops answering. It's not so much that anything bad happened just that it's not important to him so he doesn't see the need to share.

As a matter of fact Dorian rarely shares information from his past in relation to any topics, no matter how much the local brats may have pestered him. Even being the closest to him the most Vic has managed to piece together is that Dori left home at a young age and joined a 'family' but wasn't keen on the traditions and responsibilities that came with that either so he distanced himself as best he could. Only answering their calls where he felt he needed to. Never married. No kids. Not sure if he ever stayed in contact with his parents or had any siblings. Dorian remains as much of a closed book as he can.
