William Casey Jones was a pig raised for harvest, and lived in a cramped cage on a meat processing plant in Texas. A near death experience triggered inexplicable psychic abilities in him, but no one knows this, as he is unable to communicate it. As far as William knows, this is totally normal and nothing to be worried about, so he hasn't tried to alert anyone either.
He was given to William "Thomas" Young, a human man, also from Texas, and with the same first name. They coincidentally also share a birthday, another fact that will likely go unknown for the rest of time, as William (the pig) doesn't really know when he was born.
William is partial to Ivy, who was one of the first people he met post-rescue (and who gave him his middle and last names.) She couldn't keep him due to his size, and her living in an apartment, so she asked Thomas to take Will. William is a good enough pet, but he gets viciously protective of these two people, which can be a problem sometimes due to his size. Being a Chester White, he's around 6 feet long, and over 600 lbs.
