There was a molly called Scarlet who was ready to give birth, as she went to seek out shelter she found it within HawthornClan territory. After an exhausting birth, she still wasn't safe with her single offspring. As a fox was lurking, hungry for anything. To protect her kitten, Scarlet went out to get rid of the fox any way she could. When she left. She never came back.

Cold, Hungry and alone, the small kit lay under a bush, mewling for their mother's milk and warmth. It was when a Clan cat was out and about hunting for their crafting resources when they noticed the scent of fox and something more. When the mewling could be heard. This cat approached cautiously looking for the source of the mewling, what they found was a kit with no mother to be found. Acting purely on impulse this cat took the kit home, taking them as their own and calling the kit Foxkit. Here Foxkit was adopted by Cowpatch. Into an already large family to dote upon them.

As Foxkit grew, he always knew he was an outsider to HawthornClan. He couldn't find himself making himself comfortable within the clan. He always found himself feeling like the odd one out. Like he didn't belong. Often causing himself to distance himself from everyone, including the ones who loved him most.
