Asuka

Kind-hearted and inquisitive, Asuka is a harpy who grew up in a bustling city. He’s good at remaining calm when under duress, but his decisions tend to put others first–often to his own detriment. A young adult, Asuka is content with his career as a jeweler, but he longs to see the rest of the world before he settles down to start a family of his own.

Asuka is used to dealing with difficult customers, as his family makes some of the finest–and most expensive–jewelry and crystal fittings in the world. He has a deep respect for authority and especially the royal family, who have always treated his father well. When Asuka discovered the predicament that Prince Kumo had gotten himself into–after Asuka had crafted him a pair of crystal fittings that now held corrupted crystals–he vowed to help the transformed prince in any way he could. Asuka now travels with a small group of adventurers; of the group, he is the most respectful of the prince by far, even if it’s largely undeserved.
