Life in Facility 4000 was always active and hectic for Gold. The days were filled with the sounds of fighting and noise. This didn't bother Gold too much who commonly was the one causing the chaos. He saw these fights as extra practice to become stronger and hone his abilities. He was commonly seen around either his family or his gang-like group of friends. He honestly didn't mind the place for the most part. The strict and abusive scientists were not something he enjoyed but the place was familar and he had friends and family there. What else could he want in life?

Training for the fighters was brutal, you had to be extremely skilled and or agile to avoid getting a considerable injury. Fights were watched over by the scientists, they pushed on those fighting to attack faster, to dodge the hits better, to use everything they had in them to win. The areana they trained in was always full of scorched rubble and bloodstains from the years of wear from the creatures using their powers.

It had been planned in secret for a month now, they would escape Facility 4000 at nightfall. The escape was going great until the scientists caught on to what was happening. A huge fight broke out and many were injured. Gold fought the scientists with all he had in him only stopping for a second when he saw Lunalee cornered by a cougar scientist. Running over to protect her, he lit the fire within him and ran between the swiftly aproaching cougar. Gold lashed out with a flaming paw burning the scientist's face and ran out of the Facility with Lunalee closely following him. The two had escaped but not every creature was quite that lucky.
