a seamstress living in an obscure pit of semi-fame — partially coming from being an artistic prodigy in her youth, and more recently, for exacerbating the accessibility of custom-made motif-precise fashion. a chronic insomniac, she worked on a nocturnal sleep shift, often spending her nights travelling across the world via international train. these trips were often a source of inspiration, but years down the line, boredom struck. with it followed a particularly rough creative block. though she was well aware of the gossip at the time, she decided to board the fornax train in search of inspiration — she was fascinated by the described 'mosaic' appearance of the reality, and decided she had nothing left to lose if it turned out to be a sham.
upon arriving, she spent some time studying fornax, though it did little to soothe her creative restlessness. this led to a brief period of despair, but valerie distracted herself by talking to the other passengers and befriending them. though not a solution, this socialising was an anodyne, and she became fascinated with learning about others. nowadays, she holds a good breadth of information on just about anyone on fornax. she's well-known for this wisdom, alongside her valiant contributions to train fashion and also being a vampire.
