Glitter came from a very wealthy family, she always had everything she could ever ask for, she was her parents' dearest gift from life. Glitter went to private schools, always surrounded by other wealthy and high status ponies, she thought that's all life is, just fun, parties and lots of materialistic things. She wasn't stuck up by any chance, she was always extremely grateful to be able to have the life she has and never complained about her parents' ways. It was only until she moved out of home that she saw how life really is for other, less wealthy ponies. With her money and skills, she decided to try and help those less fortunate than her, so she started making outfits for fall and winter to make sure they don't fall ill or feel cold. After a couple years, Glitter started organising charity events every half year to gather bits for those in need. The events have a couple musical numbers from volunteers and some more popular Equestrian artists that decide to take part. Glitter always makes a few outfits to sell during the event too, and all the profits go to the charity.
Outside of events and charity, Glitter owns a small clothes shop. Making outfits is her passion, she's loved it ever since her grandmother Shimmer taugh her how to knit and sew, she had always been a massive inspiration for the young filly. Glitter named her shop after her grandmother, "Season's Shimmer". The mare had always been fond of all kinds of weather and time of day, the positivity radiating from her filled Glitter with lots of inspiration and motivation to do what she loves, she basically owes her current life to her granny.
