Dr Rotten as he goes by now is a very tough person to speak to as he spends almost all his time in the mansions attic in deep depression and purposely presents himself as cold and aggressive to ward off any unfortunate soul that would try to make friends with him. Rotten is haunted by his past mistakes so much so he does nothing but spend his time graveling in shame and regret, as such he feels like a burden to the very few he calls friends.
