"A horrible flaw, Midi is unable to clear her mind and make smart decisions before diving head first into any given situation. It hinders any successful percentage of the task, and puts harm upon herself, as well as others. She takes act first, think later to quite the extreme. Perhaps an ability that would have served her well in other aspects in life (hunting, shooting, and etc. where thinking too much could hinder your skills), this does not serve her well in other cooperative quests. Perhaps she will learn to use her head, before her trigger finger."

Growing up in the wild meant being able to adapt quickly and effectively with the change in surrounding. Either from sudden weather change, or situational. She is quickly to adapt to any given environment and survives well. Rather aloof and guarded in nature, she’s quiet and tends to be more of a listener than a talker, thus she is able to observe those around her and know more about them than what they, of her. She’s courageous, unafraid to take the lead into danger, but without proper planning, her rashness often means injuries and harm. Her rashness could be considered decisiveness - but it doesn’t always mean the decision made was smart. Which either gives her the outcome of pain, or she gets far too aggressive and makes the situation worse.
Through constant training and practice, she’s highly disciplined and finds it easy to follow a set routine, finding it hard to break from said routine, so much so she loves routine she gets hyperfixated on keeping things as similar as possible.
Trivia
> The nickname ‘Midi’ came from a shorthand version of ‘Midnight’. When she was born, she had a head full of hair as dark as Midnight sky, hence the nickname and her first name. Midnight became a bit of a mouthful so Midi is more commonly used.

History
Nature has always been a big part of Midi’s life, the earth, forests, animals and rivers were all she ever really knew growing up as a young child. Her mother; Tiziri Moore was a top 100 nationalist in trap and skeet shooting. An avid firearms owner and hunter, her mother lived far from most human towns in a cabin deep in the woods. Midi felt her pull toward weaponry, and helping with her mother fix and clean her firearms was something normal - since she always grew up around it, why wouldn’t she be interested? It was all she knew.
Her mom told her otherwise, once she was just a little older than 9. After finally marking her 60th successful sharpshooting practice, she described how different Midi was than the rest of the children she knew. ‘Your father is a man of the forge.’ ‘Of fire, of heat and of impressive crafting.’ Was that why she loved tinkering with all of the wooden training weapons in her mom’s workshop? Was that why she always was faster than the other kids at school at impressive crafts? Heat didn’t seem to bother her, either, rather she was attracted to fire. Sure, being told your father is God at a mere 9 years old left her reeling, was her mom pulling her leg? Was this another test to see if she’d fall for her tricks? Her mom had always tested her abilities. To survive, to hunt, to evade, to run.
Midi never believed her mom. At least, not until the summer after her 10th birthday her mom took her on a camping trip, packed tons of items for Midi and they began trekking. Next thing she knew she arrived to Camp Half-Blood but her mom could not come with her. ‘Train every summer here,’ her mom reminded her, and she believed, once again it was simply her mom wanting her to build the next prodigy - become as skillful as her mother.
Each summer she’d spend at camp, learning, developing new skills. Yet her belief wavers each time. No way. Even if she saw other children’s Godly parents. No way. It wasn’t until her 13th birthday when Hephaestus finally showed up, finally putting the final nail on that box of doubt - she really is, daughter of Hephaestus; God of the forge, of fire. Somehow it troubled her young mind even more and soon getting sent on a retrieval quest (Retrieval of Materials @ Junkyard of the Gods) with two others (Gio & Viola, Hephaestus), her impulsiveness and unstable mind caused her two friends to get hurt*. From that event, Midi became more cautious - choosing not to run head on into challenges immediately, although still struggling to do so.
(*: The girls were tasked to obtain material pieces from the Junkyard of the Gods, however their presence unfortunately tripped some of the discarded automaton and awaken them, thus sending the three into a difficult situation of evading, fighting and trying to retrieve said materials. No loss of life, but all three were decently injured.)
She returned to camp every summer, and kept herself distanced in the deep woods with her mother during the other months. It wasn’t easy, especially with the risks involved. However she loved her mother dearly and they couldn’t part so easily. So when she felt ready, she left camp at 18 and lived full time with her mother following her exact footsteps. Except with her competence with forging and crafting, she’s able to extend her skills towards opening a shop to sell handmade long range weaponry with her mother.
At Little Olympia
Years went by and she lived life simply, a girl from the woods who loved hunting, keeping herself low profile. It wasn’t until the uptick of spotted monsters in the deepwoods near their land and a message from an old friend from camp alerting her of Little Olympia; a home for those like her, a safe haven. That she had to make the difficult choice to leave - for her mother’s sake. Little Olympia became a new home for her, and a place for her to reconnect with any old childhood friends. Some survived, some aren’t - but she’s glad for any known faces she gets to see again.
Hopefully, she’ll make a life here for herself, so her mother no longer has to worry.
