Summer the Fossil Fighter and Pterosaur Trainer

My main (and only at the moment) Fossil Fighters OC!

A girl who's family had moved from the Ilium Isle to Ribular Island; while her family is unaccustomed to the hotter weather, she had grown up there her whole life and quite enjoys the tropical atmosphere. A natural at fossil fighting, with a strong understanding of vivosaurs' ecology and needs, she often competes both recreationally and at competitive levels. Her particular favorites are pterosaurs, seen almost everywhere with her main vivosaur companion, Nikky the Nyctosaurus (a rather simple name she decided upon as a child, and stuck with ever since).

Her fascination with pterosaurs and flying started with her family pet, a Coatlus which was given free reign of the family's expansive outdoor property (as opposed to their tiny, humble house). The family's business was that of aerial transportation, using vivosaurs for assistance rather than competition. From this she learned to fly pterosaur-back, often disregarding parental supervision. Despite a few short falls and a broken arm at one point, much to her parents' dismay, heights and speed didn't faze Summer. Her thrill-seeking attitude often led to long flights and adventures with her own vivosaurs in the future, and even trust exercises such as "skydiving"; purposefully falling off and knowing that her loyal flying companions would be there to catch her.

Her pterosaur Nikky has a few traits that set her apart from others of her species. Her wings have additional spiral markings, and her crest markings are more pronounced. Her chest is also lighter colored and fluffier than other Nyctos.
