Amora

Amora is a Luvdisc gijinka on her maybe late 20s-ish? Her father was a Ditto, which got her harassed in her hometown, so she decided to leave one day and start traveling. Along the way she met a little boy, a shiny Caterpie named Shimi, and decided to take him in. So now they travel together with Amora acting as a big sister/surrogate mom. They've handled themselves really well and, at this current point in the story, are living together with Amora's boyfriend in a safe, stable place.

She comes across as kind of a ditz, though she's not dumb. She's very much the white mage of her group, making use of moves like Attract and Heal Pulse to help them out. She's not a strong combatant, though she tries hard and does what she can. Amora has actually competed in contests before and she's pretty good at them; she thinks it's a lot of fun! She's also acutely aware of the legend around Luvdisc - that if you and your significant other meet one you're bound to have good luck with your relationship - because of it you'll see her running up to couples she comes across and chatting with them for a while. Usually, though, she gets mistaken for a Jigglypuff or something, which kind of irritates her.

Being a Water type, she can breathe and communicate underwater. She also can't be completely landlocked or else her health starts to suffer. She's kind of built up a tolerance since she's been topside so long, but there are times where she'll fill a tub full of water and just sit there and soak for literally a full day.
