Diagnosed with terminal cancer, Kasper "Katze" Schönfisch decided to sign up for the Llawes Corporation's 'Unbleeder' program for a shot at eternal life. I mean, what else did he have to lose? Turns out, his compassion, his freedom, and his entire actual heart. Nonetheless, Katze does his best to stay cheerful and help bolster his fellow Unbleeders' spirits, never seen without a smile on his face or a twinkle in his eye. Except when he's on the job, of course.

As soon as he removes his heart from his chest to access his weapon, all the warmth goes out of him, leaving him an unrecognizable blur of hot pink violence. Katze was a strong man in life, and the Calon Ddi-waed process gave him back all every ounce of that strength that'd been lost to senility and illness. Woe betide those who face him in battle - he'll beat them into the ground long past the point of victory, sometimes needing to be physically restrained just to get him to stop.
