Fisch is quite expressionless. While he's capable of showing emotions, he just chooses not to. He struggles to keep himself going and keep up in a conversation. Being in a depressive slump and not having your life together can leave a big toll, you know. He doesn't beileve things will get better for him, but he's trying his best to cope and push through.
Fisch struggles with chronic fatigue and narcolepsy. He's been this way since he was a teenager and he's unsure what caused it to form. It makes functioning throughout the day and night a chore, leaving him dizzy and fatigued doing simple tasks. He doesn't let it stop him... sometimes. He's never had a good night's rest though.

STORY
Fisch is a (mainly overnight) security officer for Roadkill Cemetery. His job is to ensure the gates of entry are closed and... to make sure the dead don't rise? His town is very superstitious, and truly believes the graves of those beyond need to be watched. While Fisch doesn't believe any of the superstitions, the job still pays him quite well since he's working most of the hours.
Outside of his job, though, Fisch resides in a two-story townhouse with his boyfriend, Pluto. He likes to spend his off days trying to catch up on sleep and pursue his hobbies.
Growing Up
Fisch was raised and pressured to continue his parents' legacy to be a music teacher, specifically for piano. Instead of playing outside with other kids or, you know - have a childhood, Fisch was forced to sit at a piano and overwork his fingers playing songs he never liked. His parents pressured him for a lot of things, actually. School, getting a job as soon as he was old enough, things of the sort. This did not set Fisch up for success, but rather for failure. He developed depression, chronic fatigue, and narcolepsy throughout his teenage years.
Roadkill Cemetery
Once Fisch moved out and was on his own, he knew he needed to find a job. And fast. He decided to jump the gun on the first job he saw in the newspaper - a security job for a cemetery. He was quickly accepted without a proper interview or getting to meet with him. The job was going well at first, but once they realized he was up most hours of the day due to his sleep disorders, Fisch was handed almost every shift.
Fisch never believed the 'spirits will rise from the dead if not watched' superstition, but he almost did for a second. One night, he noticed a figure had phased through the closed gates and was clipping through the graves to look for skulls. This turned out to be Pluto, a fallen Grim Reaper sentenced to roam the earth for eternity. After this occurred for a few nights, Fisch gathered his composure and decided to socialize with Pluto. They hit it off well, perhaps too well.
Present Day
Fisch doesn't have as many shifts as when he first started working, thanks to Pluto's constant phone call threats. While Fisch still struggles with his disorders, he is getting more sleep and rest. He likes to spend his days off pursuing his hobbies and spending as much time as he can with Pluto. He loves his job, he loves his friends... he's pretty happy where he is. Even if he doesn't show it, he's grateful for everything.

- Fisch usually has constant bedhead. Have fun with it, just don't make his hair shorter.

- Fisch has a stone bracelet he received as a gift from Pluto. This goes on his left wrist, and is optional but loved.

PLUTO [ boyfriend ]
Fisch's romantic partner. After meeting him through his job in a very awkward way, his life started to take a turn for the better. He genuinely loves him more than life itself, and he plans to propose soon. He just hopes Pluto says yes...
OLIVE [ close friend ]
One of Fisch's closer friends. He doesn't stop by Pawbucks often, but he always loves to catch up with her on work drama and life stuff. He always slips her a large tip in the jar, even if she insists on his drinks being discounted or free.
CAMBY [ friend ]
One of Fisch's friends. While he doesn't know her all that well, he loves her company and how she is easy to get along with. They like to swap blankets and go shopping for their boyfriends.
