It's just a little goblin that just does whatever they want, mainly exploring, finding treasure and beating up bad guys. Complete chaos personified, eats rocks, money and gems, sometimes also collects them.
It formed an explorer team with Poochy to help them, and it was SUPPOSED to be temporary but, they ended up saving the world a couple of times. Also, it turns out Opal can see visions through time, but whatever.

cynical, delusional, narcissistic, psychotic, obsessive - it's teeth are virtually indestructible, like fr it bites through rocks and metal quite often
- it has never mega-evolved, but it could if it wanted
- Opal is not allowed to be near any treasure or missions reward since the incident...
- it's actually never seen another sableye before
- it could never choose a favourite gemstone or mineral
Opal's a little more fluffy and dark-toned than other Sableyes, their ears are more 'flowy', more alike two feathers or thin 'wings'. All the gems in their body, of which theyre completely covered in, almost 'overgrown', are clear and iridescent, with a pale rainbow shine. Their mouth it most usually open, bearing their pointy teeth. And their arms are a bit longer and bigger compared to what other Sableye have.
