Headcanons made Canon: Spooks doesn't actually have solid bones, at least not ones that seem reliably present - do they have bones? Don't they? Well, it's hard to say, it's not as if you can see them... it looks like they've got joints, but somehow, Spooks can squeeze themself through spaces that seem much too small for their body (but usually when people aren't looking!) like an octopus.
