Teph is a Rito that can be found all around Hyrule, though Terrey Town and Rito Village are her most visited places. She tends to sell varying fish types and some produce she grows herself. Biography
The sky is often the limit, doubly so when you have a pair of wings at your disposal. There are some that come into this world, balking at the idea of remaining in one place for very long. The wind calls to them, it speaks their name, whispers of untold adventures and new faces to meet, places to explore. Those touched by the call of the zephyr grow restless under the same day-to-day happenings, desperate to chase the world to its very edge.
Teph, is one such Rito. From the very first of her memories, she knew that she wanted something more. There was always the call to adventure, a wanton desire to wheedle out the secrets of the known world. It steadily became worse and worse, learning of the other races, and wondering what it would be like beyond the narrow scope of her small world.
So, she flung her wings open to embrace the wide, open world, setting off to quench the thirst that had been so prevalent in her life. And she could only look on in amazement at the people around her, swooping into low dives to introduce herself to the first person she could see. How amazing, to see other people that looked so different than she, but shared the same big, blue sky!
The sturdy Goron, the sleek, sophisticated Zora, the fierce Gerudo, and diverse Hylians—all of these new faces struck awe into her heart, and she wondered how her people could ever be satisfied never leaving their villages. They were so different from she, and despite the ever-apparent differences, she made fast friends with most she met, her jovial attitude infectious from the moment they interacted.
But, she knew that simply traveling was going to do her no good. She couldn’t live off the land completely, and she needed to make some sort of money to take care of herself. But she quickly realized, there were wares and baubles that were native to her home that could be found nowhere else. She wondered if people would be willing to buy them from her, which they did.
Diving for fish, and farming and foraging, she steadily gathered her supply, taking it to the races of the world. The Zora buying the exotic fish, Gerudos buying the vibrant feathers, and the others buying mixes of the rest. And when Teph falls to roost at the end of the day, she is only filled with the satisfaction, wondering at the life she had made for herself.[1]
