The sincere and reliable Viv-aca library attendant and recent handyman of the Uehara family. Although he spends most of his time at the library, it seems as if no matter where you‘ll go – he‘ll be there. Natsume is always striving to do better at everything, making him a master of all tools, but a master of none. Well, that's what he says anyway.

- A bit taller than average height. He has slightly tan skin.
- Eyes are droopy and a light red.
- Hair is dark red, with the bottom layer of hair being bleached, making it a light brown-like color. It reaches down to his shoulders, the bottom layer being longer than the front. His front is parted symmetrically.
- Default uniform top of choice is an (academics) uniform blazer on a brown sweatshirt layered on the long sleeved uniform turtleneck. He wears the blazer by inserting one hand into one of the sleeves, and the other - hanging free.

Right before the start of his third year, Natsume suddenly, unexpectedly and completely unforseen-ly got recruited to become a pseudo-bodyguard for the Uehara family. Why him? Natsume still isn't completely sure. But this unanticipated challenge has been proving to be a fun and warm experience so far - so he's grateful for the chance.
Natsume skipped pre-school, this is why he's 17-18 despite being a third year. The boy's a very quick learner, so his parents decided this would be a good choice for him. And it was - even now, Natsume's one of the most capable third years in Viv-Aca. Though it seems his spot in 3A was taken away unfairly, by someone who definetly should not be there... Oh well.

With Natsume's employment as Hikaru's caretaker (so-to-speak), it's no surprise that they see eachother very often. However, it seems that they're unable to get tired of eachother, usually eager for the next time to see one another again.
Before meeting Hikaru, Natsume expected him to be a bit of a brat, and...well, that hasn't changed. But he'd immediatly disagree if someone said the Uehara isn't thoughtful, trusting and incredibly kind. He's willing to stand up for him in any situation, and it isn't just because of his contract. Simply put, Natsume has grown to appreciate Hikaru very much, and days spent without him have been starting to become incredibly dull.
