Created by Professor Gerald Robotnik on the Space Colony ARK many years ago, as a companion to their first creation and his human friend. The female Hedgehog gets accepted into their group almost instantly, perhaps because her appearance was modelled after the young girl. The girl named the two of them, choosing Caroline because she wanted a sister with that name. The three were very happy together, acting like a little family. It was pretty cute.

Of course, tragedy would strike, we all know. The ARK gets raided by G.U.N. under the claims that dangerous things were happening, a bad thing, poor little Caroline gets sent to hide somewhere she knew was safe. She can hear the sounds of fighting, gunfire, yelling, until eventually it becomes quiet. Engines, very quiet, only sensitive ears could hear... She waits for a while, unsure how long (perhaps a week), before eventually she leaves the hiding spot to find... Nobody. Scientists, Researchers, all gone. Everything had been shut down. Even after calling out, there was no response, not even from her 'siblings'. She remained alone for these 50 years, if anyone else was ever onboard the ARK then she never saw (or heard) them.

Too long passes. She was used to being alone, thinking that it'd be what she had to live with now. Well, that was until the Space Colony suddenly regains power. Time was a mess of nothing and she didn't know how long it had been, but hearing the old engines power up and the computers return gave her hope. She would very quickly discover the person who decided to re-power the ARK. . . A very familiar Hedgehog, with black fur and red stripes. Her brother. The two meeting up after so long went surprisingly well, all things considered, she didn't really trust Rouge at first but they ended up becoming friends eventually. Her friendship was Doctor Eggman went faster, he reminded her a lot of her creator (his grandfather), of course she would trust him instantly. A good thing, somewhat. She assists the three with their plans, learning from the others about what happened while she was hidden... And letting them know that uh yeah she was living alone on the ARK this whole time. Sadge for her.

SA2 events happen, she becomes friends with Sonic and crew, happy to find herself on Earth even though she had to watch her brother fall to his (assumed) death. Sadge again. She spends time with her new friends, learning about them and where they live, making friends, eventually meeting the person she would find herself in a relationship with. Things end up looking up for her, pretty good finally, after so long of being... Not in a good situation.

Shadow the Hedgehog: 'Brother'. Just like him, she's an artificial creation, and they're friends. She likes being around him, he's cool. And he actually smiles when around her.

Maria Robotnik: 'Sister'. Not a real sister, of course, but they consider themselves to be sisters because of a technicality. They were super good friends! Of course, uh, when the tradegy happened, she grew to hate certain people.

Manik the Hedgehog: Husband. The crazy Hedgehog who also happens to be Sonic's brother? Yeah, she loves him, they're great together. Despite the fact that her brother dislikes him, she stays with Manik anyway.
