Iphnea Sabira is the hot name on everyone's lips at the moment. Her dancing style is like none other, and it's certainly made its impression on seadweller society- and Iphnea's deep wallet. Being top listing or producer for most of her gigs, she certainly languishes in the spotlight and knows how to work a stage in and out. Part celebrity, part dancer, part artist, and 100% entertainer, she's booked enough to last her through ascension and then some!
Iphnea chooses not to delude herself with all her (somewhat) newfound fame and fortune. She's a performer first and foremost, and would be far more than a little remiss to botch potential connections just because a little attention went to her head- especially with those of her follow performers, and particularly those who are of lower castes than her. There's absolutely no sense in tossing aside someone's creative talent just based on the color of their irises!
Character
Iphnea learned to dance before she learned to walk. That was always her preferred method of movement, the way she expressed herself to the world from day one. She spilled her soul out to the world and the world watched and applauded, gave Iphnea her flowers, rained praise upon her performances. It was well warranted- her art was like no other, emotional and raw, vulnerable in a way that was entirely foreign to defensive violetbloods. Iphnea bared her soul and was rewarded with success and love from the crowds, everything she could ever ask for.
It was a very strange experience when the calls from above water started coming in. A whole other world wanted to get involved with Iphnea's art, and the horizon for her opportunities had suddenly expanded beyond what she'd ever thought possible. Iphnea had already enjoyed fortune, but the added fame from the mainland was a very nice bonus. Plus, she's had a lot more fun moving her underwater style to more 'dry' stages. It's exciting!
Abilities
DANCING QUEEN: The girl can MOVE, honey. Iphnea is an expert dancer and choreographer with years of experience under her belt, and an ability to express emotion like no other. Give her a couple hours, some music, and a mirror, and she'll have any set of moves down pat- and there's even a good chance she'll have improved on them. She even uses her dancing in combat- both real and scripted-, moving fluidly to dodge attacks and tak oppotunities no one else would see.
IT PRINTS MONEY!: Iphnea is unfathomably rich. Opulence and opalescence doesn't even begin to describe what her world looks like. Her ancestor left behind quite a pretty penny or two for her descendant, and Iphnea has been putting it to good use. She basically doesn't have to deal with any real life problems and can get anything she wants, whenever she wants, exactly how she wants it. That's just the perks of being on top!
Notes
- Iphnea performs almost all of her numbers in heels- always at least four inches high.
- Gift-giving is Iphnea's primary love language. She prefers quality time herself.
- Iphnea's hair goes down to her ankle when it's dry. Sometimes, it still kind of looks like it's floating...
- Her favorite entrance for a show is rising up out of a clamshell. Like Aphrodite!
- Iphnea's freckles glow in the dark or when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Iphnea and Pephia have been friends for a long time. They enjoy long strolls through the mall together and Iphnea enjoys buying Pep pretty things. They bounce off each other wonderfully; it's all smiles when they're around!
Lyriss Tegime [ Sore Feet Solidarity ]
Iphnea's grateful to have a great working relationship with her land counterpart. She loves his style of dance and is glad that there's a lovely complement to her work- she thinks they should do more collaborations sometime!
