Leverett is Leopold's loyal assisstant, he will go to any length to please him.

Leverett is quite tall, taller than both Leopold and Strauss. He has hair just below his shoulders which he ties up with a ribbon. He wears a small pair of spectacles on his nose because his eyesight is quite poor. He will more often than not be seen wearing a suit and tie, with an accompanying fur trimmed cloak gifted from Leopold, and a single dangling earring also from Leopold.

Leverett is naturally obedient but is also very resourceful and takes initiative. He is confident in his abilities to perform tasks to Leopold's expectations .

As soon as he was old enough, Leverett's parents sent him to work as a servant in many noble houses, raking in the cash from his labour. He learned to be seen and not heard, keeping his head down and following orders. His parents often said he was only good at being told what to do. Leverett has always accepted his lot in life, so when his parents told him to attend a job interview for a position as Leopold De Alarie's personal assistant, he agreed; assuming that the job would be a glorified servant role. Meeting Leopold, who was the same age as him, he felt like a human being for the first time as the two had a casual conversation and Leopold hired him on the spot.

As Leverett's role as Leopold's assistant became his normal life, they naturally became closer as Leopold relied on him. Leverett realised he was extremely happy in his role, at first thinking it was simply pride in his work, but later realising he was in love with his employer. He chose never to act on his feelings, fearing that it would ruin the relationship they currently had. The position he's in as Leopold's assistant means hes far closer than any other person is to him, given that Leopold is wont to hold people at arms length.
He agrees to head out of the country to organise and finance the bounty hunters that will look for Strauss. Leverett is however the only person that knows Strauss has no intention of marrying Leopold, having overheard her talking to herself on one occassion. He considers telling the bounty hunters to kill Strauss and then blame them for their conduct and call them untrustworthy. He decides against it, believing the praise he will get for doing a good job is worth more than his master's frustration.

Fun fact, when speaking to Leopold, Leverett refers to him as 'my lord' or 'sir' but when speaking about Leopold to others he refers to him as 'my master'.
