Aiko Hada (main OC)

Aiko lived with her mom, dad, and older sister, Senka. Her family always struggled financially, which was one of the motives of Aiko’s bully’s targeting her and Aiko learning to fend for herself at a young age.

On her 11th birthday, tragedy struck, and her parents were brutally murdered in the small apartment they lived in; which would later be revealed to of been her Uncle, named Noburu.

Aiko, out of fear, ran away from home and any authorities, living homeless and terrified. There she underwent many traumas, a few in particular will circle back to her adulthood.

Aiko is eventually caught by police five years later, making her 16. She was mentally unstable for court or jail, so was sent to a psychiatric hospital where she recovered and began to heal. That was where she fell in love with the popular western cartoon: My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic.

Her sister Senka also plays a part, as she is, of course, called in with the finding of her long list sister who went missing that horrible day.

Senka became resentful towards Aiko, as Senka was dealing with so much loss and stress already of becoming a mother and losing her parents, her sister going missing was too much. So, upon hearing of her survival, rather than rejoicing, it just became another added stressor. At the time Senka also blamed Aiko for their parent’s death, as if it wasn’t for Aiko’s birthday, their parents wouldn’t of been home to surprise her.

Despite her own sister abandoning and hating her at the time, Aiko was on her way of healing, hoping for a better future…hoping for someone to love her again.

Aiko is now a young adult, 19 to be exact, and is now learning how to survive in the real world. She’s making friends, finding jobs, getting her license, healing from her traumas. Things are going great!

She meets Sakura and Risa. Her and her new friends come upon a letter from an old childhood friend of Aiko’s: Emira. Emira and Aiko went way back in elementary school, where the two were outcasts but there for each other, best friends for life they promised. Though, ever since Aiko ran away that fateful day, they haven’t seen each other ever since.

Aiko and her new friends began to trace back the letter, wishing to reunite Aiko with her long lost bestie. There they get lost among the bustling city of Tokyo and get into trouble, eventually reuniting with Emira and Emira’s new friend: Bashira.

Despite being overjoyed to be together again, it is revealed that that Emira never sent out that letter, and that someone wanted Emira and Aiko together in the same place.

There the five girls are running, hiding, fighting, and trying to stop whoever is trying to hurt them. All the while they bond and grow closer and closer as a group, sharing traumas, old and fresh, and becoming stronger together as a unit.

After this they call themselves “Albatross”, referring to old slang that was originated by a Swedish Pop Band, meaning “strong willed women”.

Aiko is now 23 with many more friends and more friends to come. She gets a job as a tattoo artist and has her own house where she adopts three lovely cats and a weird toad.

One day at a club she meets her now boyfriend, Dato. The two have been together for a long time, and will continue to for years to come. Though…the rest of Aiko’s story lies within Dato’s lore…as he isn’t all that he seems.
