Violet

Violet is a fusion of Paddie and Z. They are tall and lanky, and have pointed ears and teeth like Paddie. They have purplish-pink skin and purple hair. They wear a mix of loose and tight fitting clothing that take inspiration from Z and Paddie's clothes. They also have both of their stones: Paddie's in the front and Z's in the back. 

Violet is able to both transform as well as use Z's shield. Their transformation is a more armored lizard that is more stocky than Paddie. They have a tough skin and body that are very difficult to damage, making them nearly unkillable. They can transform just their arms into sharp claws to perform attacks. 

While Z and Paddie were enjoying the sunrise, they had a run-in with a group of gems who were after Paddie. When they attempted to escape, the two slipped off of a large cliff and seemingly plummeted to their deaths. However, as they fell, Paddie gripped onto Z tightly behind him, causing their stones to touch. Once they did, their bodies fused into Violet, who was able to take the fall into the chasm below. 

Violet emerged from the lake confused as to why they got there. The first person they met was Alphonse, with whom they introduced themselves without knowing their name. After a confusing exchange, Alphonse settled to just call them Violet, after the color of their hair. More than happy with this name, they decided to use it. Al later put the pieces together that they were a fusion after seeing their stones.

Z and Paddie were able to unfuse shortly after, but Violet came back any time Z and Paddie wanted to fuse again. Typically Violet was summoned when the two were put in danger, hence why Violet tended to have a protective nature towards them. 

Due to Violet's nature of being a fusion, they have never met Paddie and Z. They express that they have always wanted to meet them, and usually asks Al questions about their traits and personalities frequently. They are naive and optimistic about the world, and are not afraid to try to make friends with complete strangers. Their friendliness can either be infectious or get them into trouble. They are gentle and understanding of other gems, and can be very honest and straightforward when talking to them.
