Physical Appearance: Corene’s fur is ALWAYS messy. Like, constant and inescapable bedhead. She doesn’t even seem to be aware her fur is messy or frizzy.

Clothing: Clothing is a hassle for Corene. 9/10 times she straight up forgets. When she does wear clothes it’s usually yellow and brown in colour and somewhat baggy.

Corene is a very happy and bubbly, yet naive person. She wants to get out and explore the world but her relatively sheltered upbringing has left her with misconceptions on how the real world actually works. Her view on life is very much that of a fantasy story, where there’s clear heroes and villains and grey areas don’t exist. Whenever she meets someone they’re labeled either “good” or “bad” and the thought that a good person might do a bad thing or vice versa is completely absurd.

While she may have skewed world views Corene tries her best to make the world a better place. She’s very passionate about helping people, even if she’s not quite sure how to interact with them. Again, the sheltered upbringing caused a lot of social norms to get lost in translation. She treats everyone as if she’s known them her entire life, which can be intimidating to strangers. Once she realises she doesn’t know someone as well as she thought she becomes extremely nervous and starts shutting down. She’s a bit awkward, to say the least. Overexcitable.

In her quest to smite evil and become a stereotypical fantasy hero Corene managed to pick up an enchanted sword. A talking sword which acts as her mentor and only real friend. She’s not very good at using this sword, but that doesn’t really matter. It’s enchanted with a fire aspect, so as long as she can actually hit something with it they’ll probably get hurt.

The sword itself is rather snarky and somewhat sarcastic. Someone Corene would consider a “bad person” if it could actually carry out a will of its own. Her sword is evil aligned, but because it can’t move on its own Corene believes she can make it turn “good” by using it in her escapades. The sword doesn’t like her self righteousness, but it doesn’t complain. She takes good care of her sword and her carrying it around is the only way it can get out and see the world.

Other: Corene is… Vaguely an AU of my character Curtana. But not quite. I very much view them as different characters with different roles and personalities which is why Corene isn’t just a tab on his profile. I mainly made her because I love Curtana but gender swapping him now would feel wrong ;w; that, and I wanted a standalone character not tied to a relationship like Curtana is.
