Bowie was taken as an infant and raised in Circus Urod under the cruel hand of Ringmaster Zloy. There he served as a circus cat during performances, or on display as a devil child in the “freak show”. Bowie was raised personally by a kind furbolg woman named Daefiel, who was also enslaved for the freak show. He grew close to her, and another child that had been captured; a changeling girl named Am. He very quickly saw them as his family, along with most the other “freaks” that were being held against their will at the circus.

At about age 16 he managed to escape and has been running ever since.
