Bartholomew J Impson, Bart for short, is a bard tiefling from Neverwinter. He grew up in an orphanage and taught himself how to play guitar. At about age 10 he ran away to escape bullying, and hopefully find a home. He was picked up by a bard troupe, working under Mordred’s Music School, and was raised in the group. Together they preformed and also pulled off the occasional con or theft job. When he came of age, he became the group’s go to pretty boy, and he finally felt like he had a permanent place in the group. Bart grew accustomed to the lavish lifestyle of constant parties, intoxicants, and the company of many pretty people.

A few years later, a heist job would go wrong, and Bart would be left behind, caught, and jailed for the crimes of his group, the troupe turning their backs on him. Two members reached out after, expressing their sorrow and regret for what happed, and Bart no longer feels ill will towards those two people, but harbors a growing resentment and anger towards the rest.

Bart recently was turned into a vampire by Strahd, after starting the process with Escher.
