A man of few words, Nicola prefers to speak with his actions. He can be bullheaded and insensitive to the feelings of people around him. This may put him off to some people, thinking is he unapproachable or rude, save for a few of his closest friends and family members who know what a kind guy he actually is. Despite appearing very stoic on the surface, Nicola feels emotions rather strongly. He's a very straightforward person who is not afraid to disagree or to tell it like it is.
If he isn't around the few people that he considers his friends, Nicola prefers to be alone. His hobbies are playing the drums, boxing and gaming. Nicola is a geek and he's not shy about it. He is very analytical and considers machines and animals easier to understand than humans. He's quite self conscious about being seen as a thug or a bad guy based on his appearance as he's got a severe case of 'resting bitch face'.
Despite being quite a calm person, Nicola has bouts of being very impulsive. He'll not say anything and then get a new tattoo 'just because', or shave his hair off because he's 'bored'. However his impulsiveness stops with himself, he would never pressure anyone into anything they didn't want to do. And the few things and people that are precious to him he holds closely to his heart, and that's something he'll never budge on. He's a big big BIG softy to his loved ones and they can basically persuade him to do anything.

Nicola is raised by a single mother, he doesn't know his dad, and doesn't want to know him. Despite a single parent household, Nicola doesn't want for love. He grew up in a small, tight-knit neighbourhood who doted on him, and had no shortage of reliable adult figures. A quiet child Nicola didn't have a lot of friends his age, though the ones he did have he kept close. He preferred to spend his time alone with the company of video games.
When was in his early teens, Nicola started to develop behavioral issues. When he was at his worse Nicola would often pick fights with other teenagers, which often escalated into violence. When one of these cultivated in suspension and a hospital admission, his mother decided to seek help. Ultimately, Nicola improved with the help of treatment and therapy.
While initially Nicola picked up drumming and boxing as an outlet for emotional release in a healthy way, over time they started to become hobbies he was genuinely passionate about. He still engages in them frequently even into adulthood and would always make time for them no matter how busy he is. He chose computer science as his major in university due to his aptitude with numbers and technology, he was never someone who is good with words and prefers mathematics. He aspires to be a programmer or a game developer, something that doesn't involve dealing with a lot of people.
As an adult Nicola works very hard to keep his emotions stable. His greatest fear is the loss of control he had in his teens. Like if he's in a situation that ever threatens his emotional stability Nicola is out immediately. As a result he's quite open with his negative emotions and doesn't keep things bottled up inside. He doesn't get easily offended and is quite happy to let most things slide.
He is a HUGE momma's boy and considers her the most important person in the world. If his mother doesn't like you, then Nicola doesn't like you. Contrary to his appearance Nicola is a goody-two shoes, he does not smoke or do drugs and he only drinks in moderation. He wake up at 7am to exercise. Yes he does the cooking yes he does the cleaning. He'll get embarassed if anyone points it out though.

- Tattoos: Loads that are normally hidden under his clothing. Most prominent one is a dragon on his forearm with the tail winding around his fingertips
