Yangarra Pala - ARPG

Background

Born in Shinek to a sickly mother and neglectful father. While his father went out and preached for the sake of Norsen, Yangarra was taught that the world he lived in wasn’t what it seemed by his mother. He adored his mother and felt little connection to his father. He often spent time at the Nexsijh River with his mother, during these times she would tell Yangarra about the troubles and horrors of the Norsen Dynasty. She showed him the slaves and servants of Royals, how they were treated, and how the poorer lived. He told her he wanted to help them but was told to be quiet. Keep that empathy close.
No less than a year later, his mother tried to help enslaved Fya escape their master. While hiding after the stunt in the family home both Yangarra and his mother could hear the guards searching, she made him tell them where she was hiding. That was the last time he saw his mother. She was put to death for breaking the third law. “If a Fya shall aid a servant or slave in escaping from their master (who is royalty), then that Fya shall be put to death.” His father was put to death as an accomplice. But since Yangarra essentially snitched on his parents and due to his young age, he was pardoned and sent to live with his grandparents.
His grandparents praised Norsen like most, he played loyal for many years - but in his heart he wanted the Norsen Dynasty to burn. More years on and he rose in power as an aid to a few in power, running errands essentially. Eventually, he found his way into The Stronghold’s manor and agreed with their ideals. He told them what he knew so far, and returned to his false life. With his Makik: Audible Misdirection, he avoided being noticed hovering where he shouldn't for extended periods of time. This allowed him to pry into conversations a lot easier than most with his natural enhanced hearing (and sight) thanks to his Feral form. - Yangarra continues to be an informant for The Stronghold.

Personality

Yangarra is a quiet and polite man, he comes off as a well-trained servant to many - but this is a front, on the inside he’s cold and doesn't remember who he actually is.

• Yangarr's original feral choices were between a Bilby, or a Wallaby. But since both weren't allowed he became an owl
