Jay

JayKit was a sweet kit, who often spent time playing with her parents or MistyKit. She enjoyed passing small and light objects back and forth between her paws, as well as dashing around the clan. JayKit's parents were very attentive towards her, spending a lot of time with her when they could. This changed when JayKit was around 3 moons old. Both of her parents had gone out on patrol with another apprentice, when a hunting dog had attacked the group. The apprentice had run back to camp to get more warriors, but it had been too late for JayKit's parents by the time they got to the dog. JayKit, still young, turned to her clanmates for attention as nobody had payed her any mind. She grew resentful, often being left alone with the few other kits, including MistyKit. Instead of being upset, JayKit found herself turning to the pebbles and sticks she once played with, only this time with aggression. She began to teach herself to fight, and after doing nothing but that for a moon straight the other warriors began to notice her skill, and mentioned it to the leader.

JayPaw was granted apprenticeship a moon earlier than the other kits. She flourished during her training, being motivated by nothing but her want for attention, and if she did well enough they'd have to notice her, right? Jaypaw showed extreme strength despite the fact her figure was slimmer than the majority of her clanmates, and she retained her love of running. She learned to use her speed to her advantage when attacking. When she wasn't practicing with her mentor, she was sparring with the other apprentices, and when she wasn't sparring she was attacking tree branches. JayPaw's extra effort payed off and she improved rapidly, she was made a warrior at only 10 moons old.

2 moons into her status as a warrior she was given her first apprentice, MistyPaw. The new responsibility and trust her leader had placed in her only increased her want for attention, but it also gave her a new craving. Power. Only a moon later the RiverClan deputy was killed by JayHeart under the ruse of a fox attack. She was given the role of the new deputy, and everything seemed to be working out for her. She was satisfied with what she had done and the power she now held and the attention it got her. She had intentions to better the clan, and did so until she was 16 moons old. MistyPaw's apprenticeship had been going well, just like her own. The apprentice was showing great potential if she could stop being such a know-it-all and actually listen to what JayHeart had to say. While on a break during a hunting session, MistyPaw had attacked JayHeart near the gorge. JayHeart hadn't had many foul feelings towards MistyPaw, and never saw her as a threat, but the chance to throw something living into the rushing waters below fascinated her, and MistyPaw did attack first. She pinned the apprentice over the ledge, before pushing her in. JayHeart quickly returned to camp and explained the situation as a freak accident, that MistyPaw had attacked and JayHeart had acted in defence, when MistyPaw slipped. MistyPaw had somehow survived, and returned later that night, going straight to the leader and explaining her side of the story. Her charming words and pitiful and scared apprentice act worked. She had claimed that JayHeart had attacked her because she wasn't learning fast enough and was frustrated. This ended in JayHeart's exile, and she now spends her time tormenting RiverClan and MistyVision.
