General Information

Personality

• Calamity is known to be emotionless. It shows little care to what happens around it or what happens to it.

• Every once in a while Calamity shows acts of wrath, though it's in a numb sort of way. It will release toxins on top of whatever land it finds itself on, simply travelling with it's jaw hanging agape with a variety of coloured toxins leaking out of it. It's never actually out of anger. Anything can trigger this.

• Picture a dream that you're conscious of but not quite present, or that deep state of tiredness or emptiness - anything Calamity does follows that sort of expression.

Extra Trivia

• Calamity is a personification, a makeshift deity, that takes up a feline shape.

• It doesn't tend to make any meaningful eye contact, though when it does it's never with its head. The eyes will follow, but the head will remain still.

• Calamity does not speak. Anything it wishes to express is through its body, though that mainly includes looking in whatever direction it wishes to point it, or a faster swish of its tail.

• Calamity can and does feel pain however it doesn't care much for it. It doesn't react to it and simply lets things happen to it.

• Despite its name, it doesn't bring about calamity. Instead, it appears in areas that have just experiences disaster, be that natural of man-made.

Appearance Details

• The toxic gas can be any colour and is known to be difference gasses. No composition is concrete. Sometimes it is thin, other times its is less of a gas and more of a sludge. It is always opaque.

• The only time its jaw opens is when it spews the gas. Every other time it is unmovable and stuck in a closed position.

• The sate of decay can vary, though it consistently becomes worse the further down its body it gets. Sometimes it's more healed, other times Calamity is made up of bones and decaying flesh.

• Its eyes will lazily follow things around.

• Its eyes are simple, dots of light. There are no eyeballs.

• Calamity isn't any specific cat, taking up a shape that's feline in nature. The skull that makes up its face belongs to a common domestic cat.

• Limbs can be disproportionate, though they are never short. They always appear long, occasionally being broken in places or tangled.

• It is often seen as malnourished even though it doesn't need to eat.

• Calamity does not have fur.

Relationships

• Calamity is often accompanied by Chaos, though it's more because Chaos insists on it. Calamity doesn't actually care. It doesn't make meaningful connections and it cares not for Chaos' rambles. Chaos is also the one that insists on referring to Calamity as a "they". Once again, Calamity doesn't care.
