Timberline's trusty farrier, Jed is a reliable and well-known local. Before his nearly 2 decade long residence in Alaska, he worked as a blacksmith for his hometown in south Maine. He's known around Timberline for his willingness to help and excellent handling of horses. He's seen most often on the porch of his humble homestead- a 2 bedroom farmhouse that is clean but not spotless. Accompanied by his plott hound, Merlin, there is always an open rocking chair for company. If you can hear through the accent, Jed's stories are worth listening to.
