Mouse would've been one of four harpy children born unto her parents, were it not for the fact that only two of them hatched - as it happened, Mouse actually hatched prematurely, and the only other surviving sibling hatched on-time several weeks later. Of the two of them, Mouse was easily the scrawnier sister, hence her name (she was only named after her other sibling had hatched), and was viewed less favourably by her parents, who focused more of their time and devotion on the second child, whom grew up to be more intelligent, physically stronger, and lacking the Asperger's Syndrome that Mouse had.

Mouse tried extremely hard in whatever she did, but ultimately just wasn't able to do as well as her sibling; this led to her self-esteem steadily declining until it reached all-time low levels, at which point Mouse decided that enough was enough and she made the decision to strike out on her own. After moving out Mouse’s emotional well-being began to steadily get better, thankfully. In time, she even discovered a new passion in life - a passion for gardening. After some time spent honing her skills she decided to open up her own business in her hometown of The Breezewalker Township, offering up her services both as a gardener for hire and as a florist. She also has a small side-business making toys for young children, though her gardening is her main passion in life at present.

Mouse is a sweet and friendly bird. She's learned from her more confident cousin and subsequently grown to enjoy interacting with other people more than she once did. She's not afraid to start conversation, though she's a little prone to letting herself get talked over if the other person or people don't really leave space for her to get a word in. She's quite cheerful a lot of the time. Mouse is a people-pleaser to her core and very much the type to help someone out if they need it. She absolutely hates the feeling she gets when someone is disappointed in or mad at her; when that happens, or she mistakenly percieves that to have happened, she's quick to feel very upset and frantically worries over how she can make things better. Finally, Mouse isn't the type of bird who tends to fly far from home. While she's able to memorise her home and the space around it like the back of her non-existent hand, she has a poor sense of direction when she's farther away in places she doesn't know.
