- Another long term cast memeber of Pepper's initial crew.
- The flair for the dramatic all began with my obsession with Ayame Souma...
- Was once considered a potential ship option with Pepper (a terrible decision, really).
- Used to have a more classic bishie look with long flowing locks.
- Lots of fox-inspired features.
- Fans self dramatically.
- An absolute punk-ass nightmare student in school.
- His luck stats would have been MUCH higher when he was younger.
- A bit of a pyromaniac, honestly.
Once a proud member of Flormaria City's most prominent merchant family, he was considered the real golden-child among his brothers for his creativity and quick wit in business. Unfortunately his self-confidence trumped his own business accumen, leading to a high risky venture that went sour. That mistake lead to another and another as he desperately tried to reverse the original error. Soon he became the black sheep of the family. His old habit of treating risks like a game (however calculated) led to throwing what money he did have left in his name towards gambling. Having squandered hsi inhereitance, he was left wandering the capital, a family disgrace and booted from the merchant's guild
One night he came across some odd "merchants" selling wares that couldn't possibly belong to them. Out of curiosity he caught up to them only to find out they were a meager crew of three wannabe pirates... with a plan to steal from a VERY familiar merchant family. Perhaps a life of piracy wasn't an unreasonable move after all?
Early on he was more of a wild card loyalty-wise, but he clearly sees something in this mad scheme to find fortune as a "dashing" outlaw. Or maybe it's because he technically owns the ship.
It was Pepper's somewhat weak salesman skills that originally tipped him off the gang of pirates he'd eventually join. His gambling habit is often their biggest point of contention, but the current agreement is he only gambles on his own share. As both are strongly opinionated they butt heads, but he's also perfectly happy having her as captain.
A particularly odd friendship, perhaps Meric's finally reached the point of realizing he should make calmer friends. Mentha serves almost like the straight man to his antics, pessimistically bringing up nearly every risk and potnetiality that could go horribly, horribly wrong, complete with literary quote.
