Hazel is similar to her half-sibling, Thistle, in that she has a serious, no-nonsense attitude. She's rather quiet and appears lost in thought most of the time. Hazel is a member of the Windswept Plains, and a previous Heir under King Veld's rule. She was a Consort and mate to King Fog until his death. Hazel had a litter of cubs with Fog, but sadly all her offspring succumbed to their first few months of life. She survived the poachers and diligently follows the word of her current King. A very skilled hunter and trusted among her peers.
