Let me introduce you to Gibean, my sona since 2020! I relate to her in many ways, but you need to know that even if she represents me, we are not the same person.
About
Gibean has a dynamic personality with countless facets, both positive and negative. She is energetic, optimistic, and innocent when it comes to the harsh realities of life. She has a natural charm and loves to bring happiness to those around her with her witty antics. On the other hand, she can be quite literal, absent-minded, clumsy,naive, and sometimes has a strong temperament. Just like any human, she is not perfect, but she does her best to channel her anger and sadness into productive endeavors.
In the grand scheme of things, even though she is the main character in my fantasy world, Gibean is more like that reliable, supportive, and sweet secondary character who offers pleasant company to the protagonist in a movie.
Despite her struggles, Gibean is an optimist at heart. She possesses an unwavering belief in the power of love and kindness to overcome any obstacle. Her genuine compassion and empathy make her a source of comfort and inspiration to those who cross her path.
Backstory
As for her background, little is known about Gibean. Her expressive eyes reveal her soul, yet her past remains a mystery to everyone except her boyfriend, Koda.
Upon careful analysis of her behavior and interactions, it becomes evident that she has endured a somewhat difficult past. Certain unresolved issues hold her back, and she exhibits vulnerability to specific triggers. Moreover, she often feels the need to please others at the expense of her own health and happiness. Unfortunately, her lack of awareness regarding certain harsh realities of life makes her susceptible to exploitation by individuals who take advantage of her.
Design Notes
- Her ears are not like those of a regular rabbit; they look exactly as depicted, flat with a heart shape on the front of each ear, positioned low in the middle.
- Her eyes are brown and shiny, and her pupils take on a heart shape when she's happy, excited, or blushing.
- She is not slim; she has curves and a fuller figure.
- Freckles adorn her entire body, but the ones that stand out the most are a heart-shaped freckle on her chest and another one just like it on the back of her neck.
- She usually wears her hair in a long braid, which helps prevent it from dragging on the ground, as her hair is much longer than her height (almost two meters long). However, she still adores how her hair looks when it's loose.
- Her wardrobe mainly consists of dresses, skirts, and tops, following soft styles and light colors. She is mostly drawn to aesthetics such as sweetwear pastel, soft pastel goth, y2k, and fairycore.

Ginebra Best Friend
Ginebra can be aptly described as a woman with difficulty expressing emotions and vulnerability due to a tough past filled with traumas. They have been friends since a young age, and as such, Gibean is well aware of Ginebra's struggles, being a pillar of support and comfort, bringing light, joy, and unconditional love into Ginebra's life. Even though Gibean may not fully understand what goes on in Ginebra's mind, Gibean loves and accepts her without hesitation.
Moreover, Ginebra is aware of Gibean's relationship with Koda. While she genuinely approves and is happy for her best friend, she constantly subjects Koda to scrutinizing glances, testing him to assess whether he truly deserves the heart of her wonderful yet naive friend.
Leis Friend
Gibean and Leis share a deep and playful friendship built on trust, shared experiences, and genuine camaraderie. Leis, known for his mischievous nature, finds amusement in Koda's insecurity and teasingly stokes the fire to evoke a reaction from him.
Despite Leis's mischievous antics, there is no romantic rivalry between him and Gibean. Their friendship remains unwavering, with inside jokes and a shared understanding of each other's humor.
